Ministries

Children

The children’s ministry is available Sunday mornings year-round. We offer care for infants through two in the Nursery. Children Pre-kindergarten through 12 years old have Kidz Hour during teaching time.

College

Kappa-Kappa-Chino celebrates two things we enjoy most: God and coffee. The Josephsons are faculty at Stephen F. Austin State University who sponsor our on-campus ministry. KKC gives students a place to enjoy together and bring their friends.

Groups Investigating God

The Groups Investigating God — GIGs for short — are our small-group model for in-home, face-to-face ministry. As much as we try, it is difficult to build intimate relationships on Sundays alone. In our GIGs, church members discuss real-life issues in light of God’s word and celebrate and pray together.

Ever Changing Band

The Ever Changing Band is Vineyard Nacogdoches’ group of lead worshipper/musicians. Each week, various combinations of worshipper/musicians come together with one purpose in mind, lifting up our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our expectation is that each person participating in worship will meet GOD in a real and personal way.

Prayer and intercession

Prayer is a privilege. We are able to go to Almighty God with our needs and desires and ask Him to accomplish mighty things in us. Following the five step prayer model, we encourage each other in prayer. God is at work today, and His Spirit moves as strong as it ever has. Whether after the Sunday Celebration, in our GIGs, or in everyday conversation, prayer is a real part of our ministry.

Activities & events

VCN is an ‘out’-clusive church, committed to getting out and being part of our greater community. Here are a few of the ways we reach out to our community:

Prayer on the Square

we feature a booth every year at this event each year in downtown Nacogdoches. Providing warm coffee and prayer, our booth is popular among the angels and demons.

Rocktoberfest

an annual event at Vineyrd Community Center, Rocktober features family-friendly bands and activities along with great food - all FREE!

Popcorn & a Movie

throught the fall, winter and spring, we feature a family-friendly movie and free popcorn monthly the Vineyard Community Center.

Service projects

members are involved in service projects in our community through the year.

Missions

several members travel abroad in ministry to people around the world.
