Sat Feb 27 NACOGDOCHES – Cram the Coliseum, Game 2, Lumberjacks host Corpus Christi, 2 p.m., William R. Johnson Coliseum, free admission with comp ticket. SFA Athletics and the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce have teamed up for Cram the Coliseum, a two-game promotion designed to increase attendance at Lumberjack and Ladyjack basketball games. The complimentary tickets may be used for entrance to either the Ladyjacks’ game. More free admission tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce. Ticket supply is limited. Sat Mar 27 NACOGDOCHES - Little Princess Tea Party, Calling all fairy princesses! Your presence is humbly requested at the fourth annual Little Princess Garden Party at the Ruby M. Mize Azalea Garden. Little girls are invited to dress in their favorite princess costumes or garden party outfits and gather for an afternoon of royal treatment, including refreshments, crafts, party favors, a garden tour and entertainment in the largest azalea garden in Texas. Little princes are also welcome to attend. There will be two parties, to accommodate all the fairy princesses wishing to attend. The parties will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 27, and will be one of the highlights of the twelfth annual Nacogdoches Azalea Trail March 13-April 3. The princesses’ escorts will want to bring cameras to capture all the magic of this very special day. “This is a great way to introduce the special little girl in your life to the beauty and wonder of the Azalea Garden at its most spectacular time of year,” said event organizer Cheryl Boyett. Seating at the Little Princess Garden Party will be very limited, and tickets are required for both children and adults.  The cost is $20 for adults and for children. Tickets can be purchased at the Visitor Center, 200 E. Main St. and must be bought in person. Call 936-564-7351 for information.The party is intended for girls between 3 and 8 years old, although slightly older or younger girls might enjoy it as well.  “I can think of nothing prettier than a bunch of little girls dressed up as princesses dancing through those beautiful azaleas,” Boyett said. “Hopefully, we will make some beautiful memories that both the adults and children will cherish forever.”

Since then, professionals and amateurs have constantly brought back the gripping tale of the virile and charming Hal, who drifts into a small town and stirs up a storm of emotions in the lives of four women. This 14-time Grammy Award winner is known affectionately today as bluegrass music's official ambassador. He has brought the genre to greater levels of popularity in the past few years than the father of bluegrass music, the legendary Bill Monroe, could ever have imagined. Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke first starred in the New York production in 1959.
