We're not your parents' church (unless you have some pretty hip parents). The Vineyard Community of Churches was begun in a desire to minister to people traditional churches left behind. With an emphasis on relevant ministry empowered by the Holy Spirit, this movement spread across the country and internationally.

What to expect

A Relaxed and Friendly Atmosphere

At Vineyard Church Nacogdoches we invite people to come as they are. Everyone is welcome. Right away you're going to notice a gathering of people from all different age groups, nationalities and backgrounds. The dress is casual, the people are friendly and the style is relaxed. Make new friends and discover a relationship with God that really works while connecting with each other in a relaxed environment.

Vineyard Church Nacogdoches is a member of the Vineyard Community of churches. Our Sunday morning meetings at Vineyard Community Center, located just northeast of Nacogdoches, Texas, feature relevant life lessons and band-led music in a casual, friendly atmosphere. We have activities for children through grade six. During the week members host Groups Investigating God in their houses around our community. These small groups allow us to get to know each other better, talk about God's word, pray together, and meet each other's needs. Special events like Prayer on the Square, Popcorn and a Movie Night and Rocktoberfest are events we host to invite people to get to know us in a neutral atmosphere. Pastor Jim Miller has more than twenty years ministry experience. He and his wife Stephanie began Vineyard Church Nacogdoches as a home church the Sunday following the September 11 terrorist attacks. When so many people are hungry for genuine Christianity and relationships that go deeper than Sunday morning platitudes, Vineyard Church Nacogdoches strives to be "church for the rest of us," providing a safe and comfortable place for people of all backgrounds to experience Christ together.
